HEAR IGGY POP COVER ELVIS COSTELLO’S “NO FLAG” IN FRENCH

Elvis Costello is giving us a new version of his Hey Clockface track “No Flag,” and it comes with quite the twist. Instead of Costello signing the song, we have Iggy Pop doing the thing in French.
“[This song] was quite an effort,” Pop said during a recent Zoom call with Costello for Rolling Stone. “Nobody official asked for it. It was just Elvis and [his wife] Diana [Krall] asking, ‘Do you want to sing this in French?’ And I thought, ‘Well, the French will be a big chore. I can do that.'”
