ELVIS COSTELLO & BILLY F GIBBONS & FRIENDS IN AN ALL-STAR CONCERT TO BENEFIT MUSICIAN TREATMENT FOUNDATION
Celebrating its recent expansion of assistance to professional musicians with upper limb injuries across the country, Musician Treatment Foundation (MTF) is honored to present an all-star benefit concert at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville on Sunday, March 12. Music legends Elvis Costello and Billy F Gibbons will come together with other distinguished artists, including dobro master Jerry Douglas and jazz great Bill Evans, to raise funds and awareness in support of MTF’s mission.
Founded as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) in 2017 by orthopedic surgeon Dr. O. Alton Barron, MTF helps provide free surgical and nonsurgical orthopedic care to financially challenged professional musicians. MTF has assisted hundreds of professional musicians with care valued at $2 million through its nationwide Physicians for Musicians network. It is overseen by a 15-member board of directors, including Elvis Costello and Diana Krall, that contributes keen expertise to support MTF’s work to keep the music playing.
